- Piloting (Space)
- Ranged (Heavy)
- Survival
- Vigilance
You can choose any 3 of these skills and increase their rank to 1. As well as have a Force Rating of 1.

- Lightsaber
- Perception
You can choose any 2 of these skills and increase their rank by 1. (If you have the same skill in your sub career as you do in your main career you can go up to the 2nd rank of that skill but no higher.)
